Shelby Jean Beddingfield was born in Athens, Alabama on January 13, 1942. She spent her early life caring for her family while they picked cotton in the fields. She loved being in the kitchen, and could cook a full course meal by the age of 8. She grew up and worked hard making a career in food service management for NASA (Eurest Dining) for over 30 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Fred Beddingfield whom she was married to faithfully for 42 years. She is survived by her only child Vicky Mcmurry, 4 Grandchildren, and 7 Great Grandchildren.
