Obituary for Mrs. Dorothy A. Hubbard-Bone "Dot"
Dorothy Ann Hubbard-Bone was born on October 20, 1957, in Russellville, Alabama, to the late Joe Henry Hubbard and Mollie Wee Hubbard.
Dorothy joined St. Paul CME Church, at an early age. She loved life and shared God’s love with everyone that she met.
Dorothy received her early education in Franklin County, Alabama, and furthered her education in college in Huntsville, Alabama. She served as an educator with Huntsville City Schools for 30+ years. She enjoyed working with children to help further their education.
Dorothy was united in holy matrimony to Linton Bone, and to this union three children were born.
Her memories will be forever cherished by: her loving three children, two sons, Jovan (Chesney) Bone and Quinton Bone, and one daughter, Alisha (Anthony) Bone, all of Huntsville, Alabama; two brothers, Thomas (Carolyn) Hubbard and Kenneth (Carolyn E.) Hubbard, all of Russellville, Alabama; two sisters, Velma Odean Hollingsworth and Mollie Fay Hubbard, both of Russellville, Alabama; two grandchildren “Granny Babies”, Zamari Bone and Zuri Jones; mother-in-law, Evelyn Mastin-Bone, and father-in-law, Benjamin Bone, both of Huntsville, Alabama; three sisters-in-law, Priscilla Bone of Huntsville, Alabama, Coretta Bone of Charlotte, North Carolina and Mary Hubbard of Russellville, AL; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other beloved relatives and friends.
