Obituary for Mrs. Crena Joseph

Mrs. Crena  Joseph
Crena Joseph was born on September 16, 1941, in Croix Des Bouquest, Haiti to Famelie Cham and Athens Abraham. Shortly after she moved to Port Au Prince where she attended Universite Adventist (Diquini).

As a child Crena loved to sing, smile, and laugh. She had a great sense of humor but her passion came from helping other people. Crena was a servant of the people.

In 1970 she moved to New York City, New York. In 1972 Crena moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where she began working with the Haitian community to establish a Haitian SDA church. Crena spent the next 40 years church building in the New England area. In 2005 Crena moved to Huntsville, AL, and retired.

She is survived by her husband Pierre Joseph, son Perrar Joseph, grandson Isaiah Joseph, brother Jeaunty Arisme, sister-in-law Roselle Arisme, nephews Jean Marc, Jean Luc and Gardi Arisme, sister-in-law Marie Arisme, nieces Ketley and Yodley Arisme, nephews Walki and Evans Arisme, sister-in-law Marie Arisme, nieces Mimose, Joudette, Walna, and Shoupette Arisme and nephew Nixon Arisme, nephews Abner and Miechelet Polynice, nieces Chamita Sylvain Mileine Charles, Ruth and Elda Conserve.
