Obituary for McKinley ""Bonnie", "Big Mack", "Mack"" Duncan

McKinley Duncan was born on January 10, 1962 to the late Bessie Mae Collins Groce and Mr. Grady Johnson.

He confessed Christ at an early age and later united with Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in New Market, AL under the leadership of Pastor Brandon Nance.

McKinley was very skilled with his hands and past time by making Bar-B-Que grills and selling them throughout the area.

Not only did he sell Bar-B-Que grills, but he was a master griller and often hosted family gatherings at his home.

McKinley was predeceased by both parents, Bessie Mae Collins and Grady Johnson; stepfather, Alton Groce; sister, Carolyn Millender; two brothers, Joe Franks and Arnold Ray Franks; and a special niece, Carolyn aka “Naca” Franks.

Those left to mourn his loss, yet cherish his memory are; his loyal wife of 35 years, Annete Taylor Duncan; three daughters, Shirlirica Taylor (Marvell), Tionia Baker (Leamon), LaVoria Duncan; one son, Levertius Duncan, all of Huntsville, AL; eight grandchildren whom he adored; two sisters, Peggy Sue Collins Kelley and Willie Myrtis Simmons of Talladega, AL; two brothers, Elgin Franks of Talladega, AL and Jerry Duncan (Christy) of Gadsden, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
