Mr. Mack Oscar Evans was born on April 10, 1956, to the late Shelby and Linnie P. Evans. He departed this life on June 23, 2020. He attended public school and he attended Auburn High School. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age at St. Paul God in Christ in Rockford, IL.
One daughter preceded him in death, Mackeshia N. Evans; and his mother and father, Shelby and Linnie P. Evans.
He leaves to cherish: his loving wife of 37 years, Lillie Evans of Huntsville, AL; one daughter, Shalonda J. Evans; one son, little Mack Evans of Huntsville, AL; four sisters, Shelly (Nathan) Hughes, Elaine (Booker) Wright, and Linda Evans all of Rockford, IL, and Laneeda Evans of Bloomington, IL; two brothers, Charles (Betty) Evans and Ernest (Beverly) Evans both of Rockford, IL; five grandchildren who called him Pa Pa, Dejuan, Jamarquris, Jamell, Demarion, and Jamari Evans all of Huntsville, AL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Deacon Fred Murray and Pastor Birder Mae Murray; sister-in-law, Annette (late Ron) Elderidge; two brothers-in-law, Wendell (Charonda) Murray and Stanley (Saundra) Murray; special cousin, Willie James Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
