Obituary for Lonnie Keys

Lonnie Keys was born June 22, 1947, to the union of Donna Harris Keys and Archie Keys. Lonnie accepted Christ at an early age. After high school, he moved to Detroit, Michigan, and started working with Chrysler Corporation.

Lonnie relocated to Huntsville, AL, where he later joined West Mastin Lake Baptist Church. He served as an usher and loved working in the garden.

Lonnie gained his wings on May 18, 2020. He leaves to cherish: wife, Gloria Keys; daughters, Jackie Turner (Otis), Beatrice Warren (Mark) of Detroit, MI, Yolanda Keys of Detroit, MI, Courtney Mays of Huntsville, AL, Kywanda Townsend of Section, AL, and Cicerra Keys (Carnell) of Huntsville, AL; one son, Lanno Keys (Alicia) of Huntsville, AL; his loving grandchildren, Derrielle, Aaliyah, DeWayne, Kierra, MaKayla, Jordyn, Yolonn, Elashia, Carlina, Lanno Jr., Bentrod, Keisha, Carlton, and Mya; two sisters, Bernice Washington and Earlene Keys of Detroit, MI; three brothers, Dalton Green of Markham, IL, Charles Keys of Detroit, MI, and Larry Keys of South Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends.
