Mrs. Gloria Jean Hill-Hill was born to Nola Hill and the late J.T. Hill on March 11, 1958. She departed this life on November 14, 2019 at Northeast Methodist Hospital in Live Oak, TX.
Gloria was a resident of Franklin County, TN. She was a 1976 graduate of Franklin County High School. She accepted Christ at a young and attended Decherd Church of God. Gloria worked numerous jobs. One place of employment was Lanier Clothes in Decherd, TN where she met and later married Mike Hill. Mike eventually joined the Army which moved her to various cities and states including Colorado, Heidelberg Germany and finally making San Antonio, Texas their home.
Gloria was blessed with two beautiful daughters Prin-Cess and Tempestt whom she adored. Gloria worked at Fort Sam Houston Air Force Base for 28 plus years in Food Service, Bartending and Management Fitness at the gym.
Gloria enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a hard worker and loved helping others. She enjoyed the outdoors, but most of all she loved her family and her hometown of Winchester, TN. Although she experienced some setbacks, life difficulties, sickness and injuries she was always positive about moving back home to her family and friends. Gloria was a Lakers and Tennessee Vols fan.
Gloria cherished her children and her grandchildren especially Jai’Vonn and Ja’Niya whom she helped raise, she would put her needs aside just to help them.
Gloria was preceded in death by her father J.T. Hill, maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Gloria leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 34 years Mike Hill; children, Johnathan (Felicia) Baker, Prin-Cess C. Hill and Tempestt C. Hill; grandchildren, Raeven, Kaelyn, Ashlee, and Jai’Vonn and Ja’Niya Knight ; mother Mrs. Nola Hill; sister Brenda (Don) Minor and family; mother in law, Mrs. Betty J. Hill; sister in law’s Donna “Ms. Dee” Johnson and Melissa H. Thompson; nephew Dante’; stepdaughter Ja’net ( Terry) Farris and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives , friends and also classmates of F.C.H.S. class of ’76.
