Obituary for Denis Crough

Mr. Denis Earl Crouch was born April 4, 1950, to the late Garfield and Earline Moore Crouch in Greenville, SC. Denis was a lover of nature and enjoyed the outdoors and fishing.
In 1970, Denis enlisted in the United States Army and served faithfully for two years and received an honorable discharge. Denis was very skilled with his hands and was self-employed as a
handyman for over 40 years. His specialties were carpet installation, landscaping, and gardening. He could install like no other, and his yards were immaculate. Denis was a “Jack of All Trades.”
Denis had moves for your nerves on the dance floor. He enjoyed clowning and making people laugh.
Denis was a very loving and caring person with a charismatic personality, and he would help anyone. Although nice and kind, Denis did “Stand His Ground.” Denis would go the extra mile to make it happen and help anyone in need. Denis was an active member of Monte Sano Ward Church of Latter-Day Saints, where he served as a greeter and community volunteer.
On December 7, 2010, he wedded his lovely wife, Aliyah Berry. Denis was her rock and stood by her during ups and downs. They worked together to make it work. Aliyah knew when God made Denis, he made him especially for her.
Denis exchanged time for eternity on September 20, 2020. Denis was predeceased by his parents, and brother, Anthony Crouch.
Those left to mourn his loss yet cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Aliyah Berry; sons, Derek Crouch of Simpsonville, SC, and Sadot (Wanda) Kilgore of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Chandler
