Bessie Lou Jackson Smith was born on June 28, 1943, to the late Burt T Jackson and the late Nina Mae Jackson in Jefferson, Georgia.
Ms. l Bessie accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church in Jefferson, Georgia.
She will forever be remembered. She is survived by two sons: Dexter (Maryland) L. Smith, Sr., of Huntsville, Alabama and Quintin (Jacqueline) T. Smith of Phoenix, Arizona; sister: Ann Burley of Commerce, Georgia; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
