Obituary for Ms. Xzariah Rice

Ms. Xzariah Denecca Rice (aka Fat-Butt) was born on April 15, 2002, to the late Markia Antwon Kendall and Teela Lashawn Rice. She departed this life on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in Huntsville, Alabama.

Xzariah confessed hope in Christ as her Lord and Savior several years ago and joined the Christ Church of Prayer under the leadership of Elder Thomas Malone. Special memories of Xzariah will always be remembered and cherished.

Xzariah was a student of the Huntsville City Schools. Her early education began at Lakewood Elementary School, and later, she attended Chapman Middle School, then continued on at her Alma Mater, Jemison High School – Home of the Jaguars. She was an honor student and was motivated by learning. Xzariah looked forward to starting a new year in the 11th grade and continuing her passion on the Jemison High School Jaguarette Dance Team. Her friendly and loving personality, along with that great smile, was joy to her friends and classmates. She was the captain of the Limelight Dance Production. Dancing, shopping, and hanging out with her friends were her favorite pasttimes, but most of all, driving was her passion. She was excited to get her driver’s license and constantly reminded us, “It’s time for my car!”

Xzariah is survived by: her loving mother, Teela Lashawn Rice of Huntsville, AL; siblings, Diamond Nicole Rice and Kemarian Rice, both of Huntsville, AL; niece, Jordyn Rice, nephew, Cayson Holmes, both of Huntsville, AL; six aunts, NaCretia (Kyle) Casmer, Rameisha Tharpe, Paris Rice, Miracle Rice Cook, Lindy Grays Pinchon, and Alicia Roper, all of Huntsville, AL; four uncles, Marvin “Whop” Kendall, Courtney Woods, both of Huntsville, AL, Ramon Tharpe of Newport News, VA, and Alex Woods of Las Vegas, NV; grandparents, Debra Rice, Debra Tharpe, and Alex Roper, all of Huntsville, AL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
